Customs Compliance Analyst (Temporary)

Summary

Responsibilities

• U.S. Customs compliance procedure to ensure activities are performed in accordance with the laws and regulations of CBP and all PGAs that impact trade compliance especially in the areas of: Tariff Classification, Origin Management, Customs Valuation, FTA, ADD/CVD, Trade remedies such as Sec.232,Sec.301
• Review of daily & monthly audit activities related to individual GERP shipment data
• Checking accuracy of EDI entry information such as HS codes & FTA eligibility and update as needed
• Process entry data consolidation for Customs Clearance purpose
• Communicate and shares information for Customs Clearance with Customs Broker and monitor clearance status
• Review Taxation Data for any errors and confirm the data and process ACH duty payments in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience in related field (Preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Korean (Preference for proficiency in Reading/Writing and Speaking Korean to communicate with HQ)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Strong Data Entry and time management skills
