Customer Support Specialist (Supply Chain)

Position overview

Position responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and understand customer culture and business strategies; engage customers and internal partners across communication channels.
• Maintain customer account health, identify needs, recommend solutions, and involve internal partners as needed.
• Develop and deliver customer and internal presentations; advise customers on order status, changes, and improvements.
• Respond to product, service, process, operations, and delivery inquiries; resolve delivery problems and follow up on account issues.
• Use Boeing systems; enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material, delivery requirements, and order returns.
• Coordinate and analyze supplier or customer ordering and delivery information for spare parts, provisioning products, or related services.
• Analyze spare-parts inquiries, facilitate responses, and share key performance metrics with customers and internal partners.
• The position requires minimal domestic and international travel.

Required qualifications

• At least four years of experience in a supply-chain-focused role.
• Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel minimally domestically and internationally.

Preferred qualifications

• At least one year of aerospace industry experience.
• SAP knowledge.
• Engineering or technical experience.
• Account management or customer support experience.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across multiple organizations.

Location and work arrangements
