Role Overview
Support agricultural-equipment customers across their customer journey, from considering a parts purchase or requesting technical support through invoicing and payment.
Build a straightforward, transparent, and efficient customer experience that encourages repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build customer trust through regular visits for machine setups, pre-delivery inspections, start-ups, demonstrations, and post-planting or post-harvest inspections.
- Provide technical support on equipment performance, maintenance, and operation; follow up on service requests, warranty claims, and aftersales support.
- Promote parts and service, recommend packages and retrofit kits, and develop plans to support new or under-served customers.
- Coordinate equipment inspections, setups, and service jobs with technicians; share technical feedback and provide training or mentorship when requested.
- Maintain accurate parts, quote, SRO, warranty, and billable-hours records; work with the parts department to ensure timely parts availability.
- Model company values: listen, follow through, challenge tradition, do the right thing, and work safely. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Technical aptitude with agricultural or mechanical equipment.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships.
- Experience in field support, demonstrations, or customer education is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with reliable follow-through on technical support cases; able to work independently and as part of a service team.
- Regular duties include safely lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
