Role overview
A school-uniform supplier is hiring a Customer Support Executive to support parents and schools with orders.
The role works with sales and production teams to help ensure orders are completed correctly and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Answer calls and emails about orders, sizing, delivery, returns and exchanges.
- Manage the shared support inbox and resolve queries within agreed response times, targeting same-day email replies.
- Track orders in Odoo and update customers about stock, dispatch and delays.
- Transfer confirmed school and bulk orders to production with complete specifications for garments, sizes, logos, quantities and deadlines.
- Follow up with production and flag delivery risks to sales and customers.
- Process returns, exchanges and refund requests under policy; log complaints and root causes.
- Maintain accurate customer records, notes and order history in Odoo.
- Support the July–September back-to-school peak with extended or flexible hours.
- Report weekly on query volumes, common issues and open cases.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer-service experience; e-commerce or retail experience is preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English and confidence speaking by phone with UK customers.
- Organised and detail-focused, able to handle many open orders at once.
- Comfort with ERP/CRM systems, Excel and email tools; Odoo is a strong plus.
- Able to remain calm, polite and firm with unhappy customers.
