Overview
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused **Customer Service Representative** with prior experience in the financial services industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, building strong client relationships, and driving sales through outbound and inbound telephone interactions.
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to meet sales and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
- Understand customer needs and provide suitable financial products and service solutions.
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers to generate business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication.
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and service requests in a timely manner.
- Achieve individual sales and customer service targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum **1–3 years of experience** in telesales, customer support, or sales within the financial services industry.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Experience handling customer interactions over phone calls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in banking, insurance, loans, investments, or other financial products.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer relationship management abilities.
- Positive attitude with a results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English & Hindi; knowledge of any additional regional languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati.....) is an advantage.
