Role Description

This part-time Customer Service Representative role is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.

In this role, the representative will respond to subscriber and reader inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring timely, accurate, and courteous assistance.

Daily responsibilities include resolving account and subscription issues, updating customer information, and guiding users through digital access, newsletter subscriptions, and event registrations.

The representative will document interactions, escalate complex concerns when necessary, and collaborate with editorial, circulation, and marketing teams to improve the overall customer experience.

The role also involves gathering feedback from customers and identifying opportunities to enhance service quality and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Ability to deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong customer relationships, with skills in Customer Service and Customer Support.
  • Experience focusing on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Experience, with a track record of identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Prior experience in a Customer Service Representative or similar client-facing role, preferably in media, publishing, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with active listening and clear, professional demeanor.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, ticketing tools, and standard office software to manage customer interactions and records.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability in a hybrid work setting, including self-motivation and effective time management when working remotely.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in Business, Communications, or related fields is an advantage.
