Position Overview
PhoneBox is seeking a Customer Support Agent to provide exceptional service and support to our customers.
The successful candidate will assist customers with inquiries related to mobile plans, account management, billing, activations, technical issues, and general service requests.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first mindset.
The ideal candidate enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media channels
- Assist customers with account setup, SIM card activation, plan changes, and service troubleshooting
- Resolve billing and account-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Accurately document customer interactions and maintain customer records
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and services
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PhoneBox products, services, and promotions
- Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Comfortable working with computer systems and customer management tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an asset
- Experience in telecommunications, education, international student services, or related industries is an asset
- Experience in office administration, logistics, or sales support is an asset
- Additional language skills are considered an asset
