About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Custom Gaming PC Assembler & Technician
to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building high-performance gaming PCs, diagnosing hardware issues, and assembling and maintaining custom liquid cooling systems.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for PC gaming hardware.
Candidates with customer-facing or sales experience will have an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom gaming PCs according to customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Install and configure hardware components including CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, RAM, storage devices, power supplies, and peripherals.
- Build, test, and maintain custom liquid cooling systems, including hard-tube and soft-tube loops.
- Perform stress testing, benchmarking, and quality assurance checks on completed systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and performance-related issues.
- Conduct maintenance, upgrades, and repairs for gaming PCs and workstations.
- Manage cable routing and cable management to ensure clean and professional builds.
- Maintain inventory awareness and report defective or warranty-related components.
- Document build configurations, test results, and service activities.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to customers when required.
- Stay current with the latest PC hardware, gaming technologies, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum
- 2–3 years of experience
- in custom PC assembly and hardware troubleshooting.
- Proven experience building high-end gaming PCs.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Intel and AMD platforms
- NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards
- DDR4/DDR5 memory systems
- BIOS configuration and firmware updates
- Windows installation and optimization
- Experience assembling and servicing custom liquid cooling loops.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware compatibility, thermal, and performance issues.
- Knowledge of stress-testing and benchmarking tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to build quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom hard-line liquid cooling installations.
- Sales or customer service experience in the PC hardware, gaming, or electronics industry.
- Familiarity with gaming peripherals, streaming setups, and workstation configurations.
- Experience handling RMAs and warranty processes.
- Certifications related to computer hardware or IT support are a plus.
