About This Role

A Customs Clearance Officer ensures the smooth import and export of goods by managing customs documentation, compliance, and coordination with government authorities and transport partners. The role involves verifying documentation, clearing shipments through customs, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review import/export documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Submit customs declarations and ensure timely clearance of shipments.
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and transporters.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
• Track shipments and resolve any customs-related issues.
• Maintain records of all import/export transactions for audits and reporting.
• Advise management on duties, tariffs, and applicable taxes.
• Assist in minimizing delays and optimizing customs processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Trade.
• Understanding of customs laws, import/export procedures, documentation, HS codes, tariffs, and duties.
• Proficient in MS Office and customs clearance software.
• Preferably 1–3 years in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Can start immediately
• You must be residing in Dubai

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
