Overview
Purpose and summary:
As a Custody Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and safeguarding the financial assets of our clients.
This position requires a deep understanding of custody services, financial markets, and the regulatory environment of ADGM.
You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of transactions, maintaining records, and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- **Client Asset Management:**
- Oversee the day-to-day management of client assets, ensuring their security and proper administration.
- This includes the settlement of trades, corporate actions, and other related activities.
- **Compliance and Regulation:**
- Ensure all custody activities comply with ADGM regulations and other applicable laws.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance measures.
- **Transaction Processing:**
- Accurately process transactions related to the custody of assets, including trade settlements, transfers, and corporate actions.
- Ensure timely execution and minimal errors.
- **Risk Management:**
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset custody.
- Implement controls and procedures to prevent fraud and ensure the integrity of client assets.
- **Client Service:**
- Provide high-quality customer service, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to custody accounts.
- **Technology and Systems:**
- Utilize fintech solutions and systems for the efficient management of custody operations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of technological tools.
- **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to custody accounts, transactions, and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in custody services, financial operations, or a related area within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and custody operations.
- Knowledge of ADGM regulations and international standards for financial operations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of technology and financial software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Work Environment
- Required to work office hours.
- Flexibility to work longer hours from time-to-time as and when the job requires.
- Open to travel requirements.
