About This Role

Job Summary

The Cupping (Hijama) Therapist is responsible for performing therapeutic cupping treatments in accordance with established medical, hygiene, and safety standards. The role involves assessing patients, applying appropriate cupping techniques, and ensuring patient comfort while delivering high-quality holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Hijama (wet and dry cupping) treatments following approved clinical protocols
• Assess patient condition and medical history before treatment
• Identify appropriate cupping points based on patient needs and symptoms
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, and hygiene standards (DHA regulations)
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain cleanliness
• Educate patients about the procedure, benefits, risks, and aftercare instructions
• Monitor patient response during and after treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Handle medical waste disposal according to UAE health regulations
• Promote services and maintain professional relationships with patients
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare or aesthetic professionals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification in Hijama / Cupping Therapy from a recognized institution
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility as a Hijama Therapist (mandatory in Dubai)
• Knowledge of human anatomy and basic medical principles
• Training in infection control and sterilization procedures
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in cupping therapy (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
