Job Description
Danzoneros Cultural Center is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cultural Events Coordinator to plan, organize, and execute cultural programs and events.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate cultural events, performances, workshops, and exhibitions
- Collaborate with artists, performers, and community partners
- Manage event logistics including scheduling, venue setup, and vendor coordination
- Promote events through digital platforms and community outreach
- Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective event execution
- Oversee on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Prepare reports and evaluate event success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Arts Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in event planning or cultural program coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a cultural or arts organization
- Knowledge of local and international cultural trends
