About This Role
1. Menu & Product Development
- Develop new dishes across BBQ and fusion concepts
- Create seasonal and promotional menu items
2. Recipe Standardization
- Build standardized recipes (ingredients, portion, SOP, plating)
- Ensure consistency and scalability across kitchen operations
3. Cost Control
- Optimize food cost and minimize waste
- Work closely with the purchasing team on sourcing and alternatives
4. Pre-opening Support
- Support kitchen setup, workflow design, and equipment planning
- Train kitchen staff on recipes and SOP
5. Continuous Improvement
- Monitor dish performance and improve based on feedback
- Adjust menu based on customer preferences and market trends
Requirements
- **Proven experience in BBQ, grill, hot kitchen, or similar concepts**
- **Strong cooking skills, knife skills, and plating ability**
- Experience in menu development or R&D is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment
- Good understanding of kitchen operations and food cost
- Preferred Qualifications
- **Experience in international restaurant brands**
- Experience in UAE or GCC market**Important Requirement**
- Practical trial is required before final hiring.
- Candidates must complete a cooking test (knife skills, execution, and basic R&D capability).
- Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per week
