We are looking for a skilled CTP Operator with hands-on experience using Kodak CTP systems.
The role involves preparing and producing high-quality printing plates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to support offset printing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Kodak CTP machines to produce offset printing plates accurately and efficiently
- Process digital files and ensure correct imposition, layout, and resolution before plate output
- Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CTP equipment
- Monitor plate quality and ensure compliance with printing standards
- Manage workflow from prepress to plate output, ensuring deadlines are met
- Maintain proper chemical levels, plate storage, and handling procedures
- Coordinate with prepress and press teams for job requirements and corrections
- Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and waste
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CTP Operator, specifically with Kodak CTP machines
- Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color separation, and plate-making
- Good understanding of offset printing requirements and standards
- Ability to troubleshoot machine and file-related issues
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
