CTM/Clinical Trial Manager

Role Overview

Contract and Compensation

• This is a one-year contract with potential extension.
• Compensation is CAD $55.00 to $60.00 per hour.

Work Model

• The work model is hybrid, with onsite and remote work.
• The role requires onsite work approximately 50% of the time in the Toronto/Burlington area.

Trial Oversight

• Ensure trial conduct complies with GCP, local and global regulations, applicable SOPs, and the trial protocol.
• Oversee CRO and internal team activities during clinical trial execution.
• Maintain oversight of compliance and continuously monitor and mitigate risks.

Budget and Vendor Management

• Create, manage, and review the R/OPU trial budget for financial oversight and accurate planning.
• Update the trial budget promptly when trial requirements change.
• Oversee vendor-service outsourcing according to operating models and governance requirements.

Training and Collaboration

• Ensure trial-specific training for internal and external partners according to the Trial Training Plan.
• Coordinate with sites, CROs, vendors, internal teams, and other trial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience in clinical trial operations, management, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing multi-site clinical trial budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
