Qualifications

  • Canadian CPA Designation in good standing. Holding a U.S. CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is considered an asset. Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course or a Master's in Tax is also considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build client relationships and an expertise in Canada–U.S. cross-border tax for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts. This includes being able to effectively communicate complex tax issues to clients on a day-to-day basis.
  • Between 3-5 years of experience as a manager in public accounting is an asset, understanding engagement cadence, client dynamics, and how to elevate service.
  • Thrive under pressure by prioritizing effectively, managing multiple assignments, and staying organized without sacrificing quality.
  • Show an entrepreneurial and tech-curious mindset, committed to upskilling a digital world and open to new tools and ways of working.
  • Apply exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to deliver clarity and impact on conversations, writing, and presentations.

  • The salary range for this position is $87,700 - $137,700 CAD. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC's Toronto office. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
