Support assessment and mitigation of credit risk across counterparties and help protect the company’s balance sheet.
Work across broker approvals, financial reviews, partner insurance company analysis, and market monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Support UK and Ireland broker approvals, pipeline management, stakeholder coordination, committee preparation, and legal documentation.
- Review broker financial standing, monitor outstanding debts, and respond to regulatory status changes.
- Maintain broker coverage records and internal web pages.
- Support financial analysis of partner insurance companies outside the Americas.
- Review MGAs and coverholders and support sign-off processes.
- Maintain bank exception reporting for subsidiaries and branches outside the Americas.
- Monitor financial markets and developments to identify emerging risks.
Required qualifications
- Degree in Risk Management, Business, Accounting & Finance, or a related subject, with at least a 2:1.
- Some prior work experience, ideally through employment or an internship.
- Interest in risk management, corporate insurance, global finance, and economics.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent Microsoft Office skills; ability to learn internal and third-party systems.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, attention to detail, and logical approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to build working relationships.
Advantageous
- A second European language is advantageous but not essential.
