Role Overview
We’re looking for a
Creative Director
to lead the visual identity and design language of Sole DXB across all brand expressions - festival, events, content, partnerships, and merchandise.
You will own the creative direction from concept to execution, collaborating with internal teams and external talent to deliver standout work.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the visual language of Sole DXB across digital, print, and environmental touchpoints.
- Lead concept and design for campaigns, brand collaborations, and content.
- Assist with concept development for experiential
- Manage and mentor a small in-house creative team, while directing freelance designers, illustrators, and motion artists.
- Ensure creative guidelines are uphead across all creative outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (partnerships, content, production) to ensure creative alignment and delivery.
- Guide the design process from pitch through to execution, ensuring cultural relevance and high production value.
- Stay ahead of creative trends, tools, and technologies relevant to our audience and industry.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a senior creative or art direction role, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, media, or agency environments.
- Formal training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related design discipline through higher education is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent higher education qualification) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art Direction, or a related field preferred.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates storytelling, conceptual thinking, and a refined design aesthetic.
- Experience working across mediums including branding, experiential, digital, and video.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent visual communication and presentation abilities.
- Deep cultural fluency and a passion for music, fashion, design, and community-driven work.
- Good Arabic language skills and previous experience in the festival, events, arts and/or culture sector is a plus
