Job Summary The CRC Supervisor operates within the Heavy Machinery & Equipment Workshop, directly overseeing a team of technicians engaged in engine and hydraulic repairs. The role combines technical expertise, leadership, and operational planning, ensuring optimal productivity, efficient resource utilization, and high customer satisfaction. The position requires close collaboration with internal departments (maintenance, supply chain, operations) and external service providers to ensure seamless execution of repair and warranty-related activities.
Key Responsibilities The key duties and responsibilities of the CRC Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise daily operations of the Engine & Hydraulic Repair section.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance of technicians and support staff.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet quality and safety standards.
- Diagnose complex engine and hydraulic system issues and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with external agencies for warranty-related repairs and claims processing.
- Manage PSP (Product Support Program) work and ensure proper documentation and execution.
- Plan and optimize manpower, tools, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure timely completion of jobs in line with workshop schedules.
- Maintain accurate job records, reports, and documentation.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5–8 years experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair, At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment repair.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Familiarity with warranty processes and PSP coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with workshop management systems and reporting tools.
