Cost Specialist (Saudi National)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project cost charging and visibility with other departments and the cost control team.
• Customize project control systems; support business plan review and resolution of complex cost control issues.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly reviews and explain variances and justifications.
• Use historical trends for planning; analyze baseline variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Establish resource, revenue, and cost projections with project teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost-tracking reports and report cost status against the baseline.
• Set WBS-based baseline budgets in coordination with disciplines, the Project Manager, and Scheduler.
• Provide financial and cost analysis, earned value and cost performance reporting; oversee budgets, invoicing, change control, and forecasting.
• Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, prepare statistical reports, and perform other related responsibilities.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited university or institution.
• 0–2 years of related budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience on mega engineering, construction, or entertainment construction projects.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, and Power BI.
