Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Umm Al Quwain for a Cost Estimator.
The Cost Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting project budgeting processes.
Day-to-day duties include developing detailed pricing proposals, ensuring cost efficiency, managing cost controls, and collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to optimize cost-effective solutions.
The role also involves streamlining cost estimation processes to meet project and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cost Management and Cost Control methodologies.
- Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail for accurate estimation and reporting.
- Experience in Project Estimation and developing detailed, comprehensive cost proposals.
- Expertise in Budgeting to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with cost estimation and project management tools or software.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the woodworking or manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
