Cost Controller/Clerk

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate labor and parts line items in service orders and allocate them to appropriate sub-orders
• Estimate job completion time for assigned technicians
• Calculate and finalize job costs after task completion
• Prepare invoices and cost estimates in a timely manner
• Raise proforma invoices for cash and contract service orders
• Verify consumable charges and ensure accurate billing
• Amend job cards and invoices in the system to improve workflow efficiency
• Review invoices and supporting documents against system records for accuracy
• Prepare daily workshop performance reports
• Compute incentives and prepare claim forms
• Enter and maintain accurate data in the system
• Support the Service Manager with additional tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in any discipline
• **Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role**, preferably in the automotive industry
• **Strong knowledge** of costing, invoicing, and workshop operations
• **Proficiency** in computerized accounting systems and MS Office
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities
• Fluency in English is required
• Must have Volkswagen Group Experience
