Role Description

The Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and managing costs associated with company projects and operations. This role ensures that financial resources are used efficiently, budgets are adhered to, and cost variances are identified and addressed promptly. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project teams, procurement, and management to maintain cost control practices and enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Monitoring and Analysis

• Track and analyze all costs related to projects, operations, and departments.
• Ensure costs align with approved budgets and identify variances.
• Develop and maintain accurate cost reports and forecasts.
• Conduct regular cost reviews to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets for projects and operational activities.
• Support the development of cost forecasts and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Provide recommendations to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Expense Control

• Monitor and verify expenses to ensure they are within approved limits.
• Identify and address irregular or unauthorized expenditures.
• Collaborate with procurement to analyze supplier pricing and optimize procurement strategies.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare detailed cost reports for management, highlighting key insights and trends.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all cost-related activities.
• Support internal and external audits with cost-related documentation.

Collaboration

• Work closely with project managers and department heads to monitor and control budgets.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to optimize resource allocation.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in cost management

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting,
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CIMA, or CPA) are a plus.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., construction, manufacturing, etc.] is preferred.

إجراء مراجعات دورية للتكاليف لتحديد فرص خفض التكاليف وتحسين الكفاءة-

الميزانية والتوقعات

المساهمة في إعداد ميزانيات المشاريع والأنشطة التشغيلية-

دعم وضع توقعات التكاليف وضمان توافقها مع الأهداف الاستراتيجية-

تقديم توصيات لضمان الالتزام بالقيود الميزانية-

ضبط النفقات

متابعة النفقات والتحقق من أنها ضمن الحدود المعتمدة-

تحديد ومعالجة النفقات غير النظامية أو غير المصرح بها-

التعاون مع قسم المشتريات لتحليل أسعار الموردين وتحسين استراتيجيات الشراء-

إعداد التقارير والتوثيق

إعداد تقارير تكاليف تفصيلية للإدارة تسلط الضوء على الرؤى الرئيسية والاتجاهات-

الحفاظ على سجلات شاملة لجميع الأنشطة المتعلقة بالتكاليف-

دعم عمليات التدقيق الداخلية والخارجية بالوثائق ذات الصلة بالتكاليف-

التعاون

العمل عن كثب مع مديري المشاريع ورؤساء الأقسام لمتابعة الميزانيات وضبطها-

التعاون مع فرق المشتريات والعمليات لتحسين تخصيص الموارد-

تقديم رؤى مالية وتوصيات لدعم عملية اتخاذ القرار-

الامتثال

ضمان الامتثال لسياسات الشركة وإجراءاتها واللوائح المالية-

متابعة المستجدات في المعايير الصناعية وأفضل الممارسات في إدارة التكاليف-

المؤهلاتالتعليم

درجة بكالوريوس في المالية أو المحاسبة-

) ACCA , CMA , CIMA , CPAشهادات مهنية معتمده مثل (  -

الخبرة

خبرة تتراوح بين 3 إلى 5 سنوات في مجال ضبط التكاليف أو التحليل المالي أو ما يماثله-

يُفضّل وجود خبرة في معرفة بالقطاع، مثل: البناء، التصنيع، وغيرها-
