COST CONTROL MANAGER

The **Cost Control Manager** serves as the financial guardian of the procurement department.

This role ensures that every dirham spent aligns with the company's profitability objectives, maintaining the strict threshold of 65% spend versus 35% revenue, while optimizing the overall procurement strategy and supporting sustainable growth.

· Oversee all procurement costs, ensuring strict adherence to departmental and company-wide budgets.

· Enforce the **65/35 rule**, ensuring total procurement spend does not exceed 65% of generated revenue.

· Develop and refine pricing strategies in coordination with the Sales team to maintain target profit margins.

· Partner with the Finance Department to conduct detailed cost analysis, variance reporting, and financial insights.

· Negotiate and validate vendor discounts, rebates, and payment terms to maximize profitability.

· Approve high-value purchase orders and contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic financial objectives.

· **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

· **Experience:** 5–10+ years in cost control, procurement finance, or financial management (FMCG, retail, or distribution preferred).

· **Skills:**

o Strong financial analysis and budget management skills

o Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, ODoo or similar) and Excel

o Understanding of procurement processes and pricing strategies

o Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities

o Excellent communication and decision-making skills

· Compliance with the 65/35 procurement-to-revenue ratio

· Cost savings and vendor negotiation efficiency

· Accuracy of cost analysis and reporting

· Approval turnaround time for high-value purchases
