Role overview
Oversees cost performance across multiple engineering and real estate development initiatives.
Part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, combining on-site work with some work from home.
Responsibilities
- Establish cost-control procedures; track budgets and expenditures; prepare cost reports and provide accurate financial data.
- Monitor variances, analyze trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and finance colleagues to keep projects within approved budgets.
- Contribute to forecasting, project-cost risk assessment, and continuous improvement of cost-management practices.
Qualifications
- Strong cost-control and cost-management skills, advanced analytical skills, cost-reporting experience, and project-control capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; project or cost-management certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in engineering consulting, construction, or real estate development; GCC experience is ideal.
- Proficiency in cost-management software and Microsoft Excel; attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Collaborative communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
