Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about accuracy in cost control and workshop operations?

Join Ali & Sons – Motors Division as a Cost Clerk, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting workshop efficiency through precise job costing, workflow coordination, and invoicing. This position is key to ensuring accurate cost calculations, optimized job allocation, and strong after-sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate labour lines in service orders and split tasks into sub-jobs for accurate allocation
• Estimate job completion times and assign work based on technician capacity
• Calculate job costs upon completion, ensuring all elements are accurate
• Prepare invoices, estimates, and proforma invoices for both cash and contract service orders
• Verify consumables, labour charges, and job details against system records
• Update and amend job cards and invoices to enhance workflow efficiency
• Monitor and report daily workshop performance metrics
• Support incentive calculations and prepare claim documentation
• Maintain accurate data entry and ensure system records are always up to date
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to provide timely job status updates
• Report technical or safety issues to the Master Technician when identified
• Follow company SOPs and maintain workplace organization and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager

Role Purpose:

To ensure accurate job costing, efficient workflow allocation, and timely reporting that supports high-performing workshop operations and overall after-sales excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role within automotive after-sales or workshop operations
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in ERP/workshop systems and data entry
• Core Skills: Strong analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail capabilities
• Communication: Effective coordination and interpersonal skills
