About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team as a Corporate & Trust Officer.
In this function, you will administer and supervise a diverse portfolio of client structures while supporting senior leadership in the day-to-day management of our business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal or trust professional looking to broaden their expertise in a dynamic, international environment.
Your Responsibilities
- You will play a central role in managing corporate structures, with key responsibilities including:
- Administration and supervision of existing client structures, including onshore and offshore companies, trusts, foundations, and related financial activities
- Administration of semi-commercial and commercial client structures
- Coordination with internal team members (Hong Kong & Switzerland), clients, and intermediaries
- Handling of offshore ESR reports and dealing with compliance matters (KYC, DD etc.)
- Assistance with new business onboarding processes
- Acting as associate and assistant to the Group CEO and Group COO
Who You'Ll Work With
You will interact regularly with a wide network of stakeholders, including bank departments (operations, payments, securities, compliance), internal and external bookkeepers and auditors, registered agents, trust companies, consultants, lawyers, advisors, business partners, clients, prospects, and Group staff.
Skills
- Essential qualifications:
- Background in paralegal services, a law firm environment, a corporate service provider, compliance or similar
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a legal or fiduciary secretary, associate, compliance or paralegal at a law firm, or trust officer
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting
- Basic paralegal know-how
- Experience with onshore (UAE) and offshore entities worldwide
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Desirable qualifications:
- University degree in law, tax, or economics, or STEP qualification
- Knowledge of trust, fiduciary, banking, or accounting matters
- IT affinity and a generalist mindset
