Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the property, including interior and exterior areas, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions
- Control access points and verify credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, and incidents
- Conduct routine foot patrols, requiring extended periods of walking and standing
- Identify and report security risks, hazards, or suspicious activity
- Maintain accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and building management as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military ( preferred )
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm, composed, and professional in stressful situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical & Work Conditions
- Must be physically capable of long periods of walking and standing
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (as applicable for outdoor patrols)
- Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $16.00 – $18.00 DOE
