Qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi entity close and consolidation.
Working knowledge of real estate accounting: leases, CAM, intercompany structures, capital events and distributions.
Experience building budgets and departmental expense reporting with business leaders, not only for them.
Strong Excel modeling; experience with RealPage, Entrata, Ramp and Sage Intacct or a comparable ERP.
Clear written communication: can turn a workbook into a short summary, a decision request and a list of next steps.
Experience directing staff or outsourced teams, with a track record of delegating and reviewing rather than redoing.
