Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or control systems engineering
- 8+ years of automotive experience with knowledge of propulsion systems in product development, manufacturing or quality
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of quality tools, methods, processes to drive continuous product improvements in the automotive industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g. Shainin Red X, Lean, DFSS)
- Ability to work under pressure, stay organized and continuously meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with professional and positive attitude, ability to lead and work with a global development team. Ability to present to global executive team
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft office applications
- Domestic and international travel is possible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in quality management or engineering
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines is a plus
- Demonstrated six sigma green and/or black belt certification
- Demonstrated Shainin Red X Certification
- 5+ years’ automotive experience in Propulsion Systems
- 5+ years’ design and release experience in electrified propulsion, electromechanical systems, or gear drives
- 5+ years of quality management
