  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Copy Editor Manager to lead our copy editing function and ensure the highest standards of written communication.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee editing processes, manage a team of copy editors and writers, and maintain consistency in tone, grammar, style, and brand voice across all content.
  • 🚀 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of copy editors, writers, and content reviewers
  • Review, edit, and refine content for grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain editorial style guides, tone of voice guidelines, and proofreading standards
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and communication objectives
  • Collaborate with content, marketing, design, and product teams on content development
  • Oversee quality assurance processes for all written materials before publication
  • Manage editorial workflows, deadlines, and content approval processes
  • Conduct fact-checking and ensure accuracy of all published materials
  • Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators to improve quality
  • Stay updated on language trends, editorial standards, and best practices
  • ✅ Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field preferred
  • 3–7 years of experience in copy editing, proofreading, publishing, or editorial roles
  • 1–3 years of leadership or team management experience preferred
  • Exceptional grammar, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of editorial style guides (e.g., AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style)
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and digital publishing workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong quality control mindset
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
