Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or PhD (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology
  • Knowledge of mental health treatment and psychosocial resources, two years post masters experience in mental health treatment

  • The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,661.00 - $81,675.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination of services in accordance with psychiatric and psychosocial assessment and diagnosis.
  • Coordinate with other members of multi-disciplinary team in developing and implementing treatment plan.
  • Conduct individual and/or group treatment sessions for patients and families.
  • Document in medical record diagnostic impressions of patient status and current progress.
  • Coordinate patient/family education; encourage participation in care and consumer involvement.
