About The Role
The Coordinator & Accountant – Government Transactions is responsible for managing and recording financial activities related to government fees, permits, licenses, and regulatory payments.
You'll coordinate with internal departments and external government offices to ensure timely document submission, accurate payment processing, and proper record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and follow up on government transactions (permits, licenses, renewals, regulatory payments)
- Liaise with government portals and authorities (e.g., DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, Tasheel)
- Prepare and review invoices and receipts; reconcile government-related accounts
- Maintain organized records and track due dates for renewals and compliance
- Support reporting and audit processes by compiling data and preparing summaries
- Contribute to process improvement and ensure adherence to local regulations
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in a similar coordinator/accountant role in the UAE
- Strong accounting fundamentals: bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Proven experience coordinating transactions with government entities
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Solid understanding of UAE regulations, government portals, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: AED 4,000 – 7,000 per month, based on experience
- Benefits: Air ticket every 2 years, paid annual leave, and end-of-service gratuity as per UAE Labour Law
