Human Resources administration
- Create and maintain filing systems, type office correspondence, distribute and route mail, and order and track office supplies and forms.
- Answer phone calls and record messages; create employee personnel files and maintain accurate records, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and keep the application area clean, well maintained, and accessible.
- Respond to employee and management questions about company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Inform Human Resources management of employee-relations issues within the division or property.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
General duties and standards
- Follow company policies and quality expectations, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests; communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately; and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is required.
