Overview
- Diagnose and repair faults in display chillers, fridges, freezers, and coolers (electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues).
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and increase equipment life span.
- Install new cooling equipment at retail or market locations.
- Conduct system tests and performance checks after repairs.
- Recharge refrigerants, replace compressors, thermostats, and other cooling components.
- Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls promptly.
- Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure required materials are available.
- Report recurring issues to supervisors for long-term solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling ability.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in field locations.
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Safety-conscious with attention to detail.
