Prepare, season, cook, and serve meals according to the established menu

Ensure proper portion sizes by following recipes and portion control standards

Monitor and record food temperatures during preparation and service

Check and inspect food products and supplies upon delivery

Keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean and safe , following food safety guidelines

Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents and team members

A high school diploma or GED

Basic knowledge of food safety

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude

Previous food service experience is helpful

ServSafe certification is a plus

GateWay at River City is seeking a Cook to join our Culinary Team . In this role, you’ll prepare delicious, well-balanced meals that create a positive dining experience for our residents.
