Role overview

Guest and room operations

• Assign rooms based on guest requests and preferences; prepare designated guests for arrival and coordinate group pre-registration.
• Track room and check-out change requests, confirm reservations and cancellations, review out-of-order rooms, and identify over-commitments.
• Check duplicate reservations, block rooms, align rates with market codes, and document exceptions.
• Process check-ins and check-outs, activate keys, secure payment, adjust billing, and file guest paperwork.
• Run daily reports, relay messages accurately, and follow up on guest requests or problems.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, answer telephones professionally, and coordinate tasks with other departments.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as preferred.
• Less than one year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
• No supervisory experience is listed; no license or certification is specified.

Work expectations

• Follow company policies and quality standards, protect confidential information and company assets, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Use computers or POS systems; duties may involve extended standing, sitting, or walking and handling items weighing up to 10 pounds.
