Position overview

Reservations and room operations

• Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences where possible; pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets.
• Coordinate check-in and pre-registration for arriving groups and communicate room or check-out change status to appropriate staff.
• Confirm reservations and cancellations, check duplicate reservations, and block rooms.
• Review out-of-order rooms daily and verify rates against market codes, documenting exceptions.

Guest transactions and communication

• Process check-ins and check-outs, activate room keys, verify and adjust billing, secure valid payment, and identify over-commitments.
• File guest paperwork, run daily reports, and receive, record, and relay messages accurately.
• Follow up with guests to ensure requests or problems have been addressed and coordinate work with other departments.

Preferred qualifications

• Less than one year of related work experience is listed.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.

Service and workplace standards

• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and use clear, professional language.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and comply with quality assurance standards.
• Use computers and/or POS systems to enter and locate information.

Physical work requirements

• The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking and moving or lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
