Position details

Responsibilities

• Assign rooms based on guest preferences and prepare arrival and key materials.
• Coordinate group arrivals and pre-registration; handle reservation confirmations, cancellations, room changes, and departure-date requests.
• Review unavailable rooms, overassignments, duplicate reservations, and room blocks.
• Check rates against market standards, document exceptions, and verify or adjust guest billing.
• Process guest arrivals and departures, activate room keys, obtain valid payment, and file guest records.
• Prepare daily reports, follow up on guest requests and issues, and transmit messages accurately.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist people with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
• Follow company, confidentiality, safety, and quality standards; coordinate with other departments and support shared team goals.

Qualifications and physical expectations

• Related work experience of less than 1 year is listed as desirable.
• No secondary-school diploma or equivalent, supervisory experience, license, or certification is required.
• The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Accurate written communication, professional speech, and appropriate phone etiquette are expected.
