Position details

Reservations and room control

• Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences where possible.
• Pre-register selected guests, prepare key packets, and coordinate group pre-registration and check-in procedures.
• Review and respond to room-change and departure-date requests and communicate changes to relevant staff.
• Confirm reservations and cancellations and review out-of-order rooms daily.
• Check that rates match market prices and document exceptions.
• Identify overbooking, monitor duplicate reservations, and block rooms as needed.

Guest processing and service

• Review and adjust guest billing, complete guest paperwork, and process guest arrivals and departures.
• Activate room keys and obtain and verify payment.
• Prepare daily reports and accurately receive, record, and relay messages.
• Follow up on guest requests and issues to support guest satisfaction.
• Welcome guests, anticipate and respond to their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests warmly.

Coordination and standards

• Coordinate work with other departments and comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, complete uniform and professional appearance; protect confidential information and company property.
• Use clear, courteous language and prepare accurate, complete written documents.
• Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve information.

Recommended qualifications

• No high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Less than one year of related work experience is recommended.
• No supervisory experience or license/certification is required.

Physical requirements

• Able to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods.
• Independently move, lift, carry, push, or place loads up to 4.5 kg.
