Control Systems Data Analyst/Field Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare workflow documents using site maps, architecture documentation, site assessments, and production processes.
• Analyze mission assessments to identify key assets, critical infrastructure, and systems.
• Conduct on-site physical and logical inventories, assessments, and validation audits.
• Research and analyze systems across design, installation, inventory, operation, sustainment, and disposal.
• Analyze IT and OT systems and document current and future systems.
• Develop technical and operational views, reports, and summaries for leadership, including mission and operational risk.
• Maintain Excel files and prepare reports for multiple audiences.
• Create detailed workflow diagrams in Visio or a similar Army-provided application.
• Develop and maintain Common Operating Picture dashboards for AMC leadership.
• Assist other teams with related efforts as requested.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an associate’s degree plus two additional years of experience may also substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• One to three years of work-related experience.
• Control systems experience with at least one listed system; control system scanning knowledge is a bonus.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance; an active clearance is highly desired.
• Ability to travel 10–15%.

Control systems

• Preferred systems include Niagara, Metasys, CCTV, ESS, SCADA, PLC, lighting control, HVAC control, intrusion detection, environmental monitoring, fire and life safety, utility, and industrial control systems.
• A STEM-related degree is preferred.
