Job purpose and scope

Principal accountabilities

• Champion project safety culture and comply with company policies and contract and procurement work processes.
• Identify and resolve EPC/FEED contracting issues; review contract baselines, requirements, responsibilities, management documents, and procedures.
• Organize contractor kick-off meetings and explain contract administration procedures for changes, notices, and payments.
• Ensure insurance requirements are met, monitor potential loss or damage, and review documentation for insurance claims.
• Ensure performance and bank guarantees are maintained and contractor warranty requirements are met.
• Balance owner relationships and contract requirements; determine administrative procedures and seek legal advice when required.
• Review records management and ensure project execution chronology is documented.
• Evaluate contract changes, notices, change orders, amendments, contractor reports, and potential claims or delays.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, quality, and project risks to reduce the owner's financial and legal exposure.
• Attend weekly administration meetings and prepare monthly subcontract and EPC/FEED contract administration reports.
• At the construction site, manage files, correspondence, changes, payment certificates, invoices, registers, completion, and contract close-out.
• Secure commercially sensitive documents and observe the clean-desk policy at the end of each working day.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• At least 20 years of overall oil and gas experience and five years of GCC experience are required.
• FEED and EPC experience and experience in PMC roles are required.
• At least five years in a similar position on international oil and gas projects is required.
• ADNOC experience is preferable.
