The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Contractor in Riyadh.
The successful candidate will oversee all contract related activities, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and optimal contract performance to support our clients ambitious projects across Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal standards.
- Manage contract administration throughout the project lifecycle, including documentation, amendments, and records maintenance.
- Monitor contract compliance and performance, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide guidance on contract terms and conditions, mitigating potential risks.
- Lead dispute resolution and claims management effectively to protect company interests.
- Stay updated on relevant local and international laws, regulations, and industry best practices impacting contracts.
- Coordinate with legal and finance departments to ensure all contracts meet regulatory and financial requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a Tier 1 contractor environment, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, or similar), and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
