Role overview
Manage contractual and commercial activities related to construction project execution.
Responsibilities
- Review contracts, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and commercial terms.
- Monitor contractual obligations and maintain records of variations, additional works, and change orders.
- Document delays and impacts; support EOT submissions and claims with project and site teams.
- Review quantities, measurements, and contract rates for billing; coordinate certification and payment matters.
- Monitor subcontractor contracts and compliance; maintain contractual correspondence and records.
- Support commercial issue resolution, reporting, risk communication, and coordination across departments.
Candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant civil construction contracts, commercial, or project management experience.
- Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, measurements, variations, claims, and EOT.
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; able to understand drawings and specifications.
- Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills; working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Contractual letters, claims, and commercial documentation experience is an advantage.
Pay and benefits
- Pay is ₹600,000–₹800,000 per year.
- Benefits include leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
