The employer is hiring a Contracts Attorney for one of its clients to provide strategic legal leadership and oversee organizational legal matters on a contract basis.
Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and may be performed from anywhere.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $100 to $200 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise executive leadership and board members on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, partnership, licensing, and other complex commercial contracts.
- Manage legal risks related to operations, products, and global expansion.
- Oversee intellectual property protection, data privacy, and employment law matters.
- Ensure adherence to laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions while supporting growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state.
- At least 10 years of corporate law experience focused on technology, internet, or digital platform industries.
- Strong expertise in commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience advising startups or high-growth companies on venture financing, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, data privacy laws, and intellectual property protection strategies.
