Role overview
Hands-on individual contributor managing the end-to-end lifecycle of customer-facing contracts for IT and technology engagements.
Works with Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Project Management to align agreements with commercial terms, project scope, and obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, negotiate, and administer MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, amendments, addenda, and change orders.
- Validate scope, pricing, payment terms, deliverables, SLAs, milestones, and obligations against approved agreements.
- Assess contractual risks involving liability, indemnity, IP, privacy, termination, penalties, warranties, and service obligations; escalate high-risk terms.
- Manage contract execution, amendments, renewals, closure, records, version control, obligations, and critical dates.
- Coordinate contract changes and ensure consistency across agreements, quotations, SOWs, project documents, and approvals.
- Prepare management reports and dashboards and improve templates, clause libraries, workflows, and approval processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Contract Management, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years handling customer-facing contracts in a technology-related industry.
- Strong contract drafting, review, redlining, and negotiation-support experience with technology agreements.
- Understanding of IT delivery models, SLAs, software licensing, commercial terms, and technology-related contractual provisions.
- Strong stakeholder management, English communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with a system integrator, technology services company, telecom operator, SaaS provider, or IT solutions organization is preferred.
- CPCM, CCCM, or World Commerce & Contracting/IACCM certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, DocuSign/Adobe Sign, Jira, or Confluence is preferred; Arabic is advantageous.
