Responsibilities
1.
Manage the contractual relationship with the Employer, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and maintaining open lines of communication to address any concerns or contractual issues as needed.
2.
Develop and manage contracts for roads and bridges project, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly outlined and compliant with legal requirements.
3.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project needs and provide contract-related guidance that aligns with project goals.
4.
Negotiate contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers, aiming to secure favorable conditions while mitigating risks to the company.
5.
Monitor contract performance throughout project execution, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly to maintain project timelines and budgets.
6.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all contract-related activities, ensuring transparency and accountability within the project team.
7.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of contracts to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in contract management.
8.
Resolve disputes and claims efficiently, utilizing conflict resolution skills to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Requirements
Total Experience: 20+ years experience in the contract management site.
Managerial Experience: Minimum 5+ years working as Contract Manager.
Regional Experience: Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a significant advantage.
& Competencies
Languages: Excellent command of English (written & spoken).
Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Software: Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Mindset: A self-driven, result-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership.
