Adelaide Chamber Singers—a premier vocal ensemble expanding its cultural footprint in the Middle East—is seeking a meticulous Contract Compliance Accountant to join our administrative hub in Doha.

In the world of high-level performance and international tours, the "behind the scenes" financial structure is what makes the magic possible. We need a sharp-eyed accountant to ensure our partnerships, venue agreements, and artist contracts are executed with absolute financial integrity.

The Role: Contract Compliance Accountant

This is a unique opportunity to blend high-level accounting with the arts. You will be responsible for the financial oversight of all contractual agreements, ensuring that every note played—and every riyal spent—aligns with our organizational standards and Qatar’s regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Contract Oversight: Review and manage financial terms for international artist agreements, venue hires, and partnership sponsorships.
  • Compliance Auditing: Ensure all payments to vendors and contractors adhere strictly to agreed-upon terms, milestone triggers, and tax requirements (including WHT where applicable).
  • Grant & Funding Tracking: Monitor the financial compliance of cultural grants and sponsorships, ensuring funds are utilized and reported in accordance with donor requirements.
  • Licensing & Royalty Management: Oversee the accounting and payment of performance rights and intellectual property royalties.
  • Internal Control Coordination: Bridge the gap between the artistic production team and the finance department to prevent budget variances and contractual overruns.

Who You Are

  • The Analytical Professional: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is highly preferred.
  • The Detail Specialist: 3–5 years of experience in contract accounting, internal audit, or project finance. Experience in the arts, non-profit, or event management sectors is a significant advantage.
  • IFRS Savvy: Strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards and the ability to apply them to diverse contractual arrangements.
  • The Communicator: Exceptional English skills are required to navigate international contracts. A passion for music or the arts helps you speak the "language" of our team.
  • Organized & Agile: You can manage the high-pressure deadlines associated with international tours and large-scale cultural events.
