Role overview

Working arrangements

• The role is based in Bracknell, GB.
• Contracted hours are at least 35 per week, with flexible start times between 07:00 and 11:00 when business requirements allow.
• Employees may request to work from home two days per week when there is no business requirement to attend the office.
• Regular office hours are 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 13:00 on Friday, with a half-hour lunch break.

Main responsibilities

• Support business cases and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and technology-enabled change.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and communicate them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with business functions, Information Systems colleagues, external providers and project stakeholders.
• Analyse processes and recommend improvements to efficiency, effectiveness and user experience.
• Translate requirements into functional solution designs with Functional Analysts and technical teams.
• Maintain requirements, process maps, user stories and other project artefacts.
• Support user acceptance testing, test cases and validation against agreed requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions.
• Support procurement and supplier selection, including Request for Information and Request for Proposal documents.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews, system enhancements and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications and experience

• Demonstrable experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and user requirements.
• Experience with Request for Proposal, tender or supplier-selection processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify practical improvement opportunities.
• Ability to define user requirements using user stories and story maps.
• Ability to challenge business cases and requirements constructively using evidence and judgement.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for different audiences.
• Ability to prepare presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Experience planning, leading or facilitating stakeholder and supplier workshops.
• Ability to build effective relationships across business, Information Systems and external providers.
• Ability to work independently, organise priorities and own deliverables.
• Curiosity and willingness to understand business activities and integration points.

Desirable experience

• Automotive industry experience and understanding of the associated business environment would be advantageous.
