Position overview

Operations-wide analytical and business-systems role serving production, equipment, warehouse, and supply chain leaders in KULR’s battery operation.

Turns operational analysis and improvement opportunities into financial business cases, system requirements, acceptance criteria, and user documentation for KULR’s internal AI-enabled operations platform.

Individual contributor reporting to the Vice President of Operations, with no supervisory responsibility.

Deliverables

  • Prepare improvement business cases, savings tracking, labor and throughput analytics, and process maps for production and warehouse workflows.
  • Develop functional specifications, data definitions, acceptance criteria, and UAT plans and results for operations-platform enhancements.
  • Build platform analytics models and dashboards for cost, throughput, labor, equipment, and freight.
  • Provide freight-rate benchmarks and consolidation scenarios for management decisions.
  • Prepare platform user instructions and training materials.
  • Calculate and maintain min/max, reorder point, and safety stock parameters in KiOS; review them monthly.
  • Maintain audit-ready supplier compliance files in KiOS, including Approved Vendor List records, certificates with expiration tracking, and NDAA and country-of-origin attestations.

Cost and throughput analysis

  • Build business cases for labor productivity, line balancing, changeover reduction, equipment availability, freight consolidation, packaging, expedite-spend reduction, and inventory carrying cost initiatives.
  • Conduct production time studies and cycle-time analysis; model takt, station balance, and crew size by product configuration.
  • Analyze labor data by work order, program, and station to identify productivity, utilization, idle-time, cross-training, and allocation opportunities.
  • Benchmark LTL, parcel, and dangerous-goods freight rates across carriers and lanes; model consolidation scenarios and prepare recommendations.
  • Analyze spend and demand history to support sourcing decisions. The analyst does not book shipments, select carriers, negotiate with suppliers, or qualify suppliers.

Work scope

  • The role supports operations across production, equipment, warehouse, and supply chain functions; the available description does not specify a work arrangement.

Compensation

  • Source salary information lists USD $70,000–$80,000 per year.

Requirements
